The training new
staff undertake
Prior to commencing employment with Guardian all new live in care and support staff go through an extensive selection, checking and vetting procedure which includes face-to-face interviews, reference checks and a Disclosure Scotland Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check. This is mandatory and audited as part of our internal quality assurance system. All staff undergo an extensive induction and training process to ensure they are equipped to provide the highest standards of care and support when providing live in care. This is supported by ongoing training and development during employment. All staff must be registered within 3 months of joining Guardian.
